Nicotine bill passed? How is this going to affect the general smoking population?
I am not completely aware of what passing this bill is supposed to do. Is it the amount of nicotine that they’re trying to cut down or the sell of cigarettes to minors, which is illegal already? And how do you think this is going to affect the majority of smokers? Will this bill make a difference or none at all?I guess the smaller amounts of nicotine are supposed to gradually ween them of off cigarettes all together. What’s your opinion?

What are the harmful physical effects of inhaled nicotine sans tobacco?
I am asking this because I recently bought an electronic cigarette, which is basically a nicotine vaporizer. I have not been able to find anything conclusive on the physical harms of nicotine-only products. I know that most stimulants have a negative effect on the cardiovascular system, and that pure nicotine is toxic at high(er) doses, but what about >30mg/day? I have been using the product with decreasing concentrations of nicotine solution to wean off of tobacco addiction. Links to appropriate studies are appreciated.
